And away we go…

So we’re on day one billion of the pandemic, and it feels like we’re just getting started. Another week flew by, I’ve washed my seven hundredth load of groceries, and I’m gearing up for a weekend of cooking and cleaning. The three boys are due on the door step in a couple of hours, and I’m thinking today might be a good day for Maultaschen!

My Oma used to crank these out in a morning, and she’d use the entire dining table to do so. Her recipe was basic but scrumptious, and her pasta was hearty and robust. I like to make mine slightly more delicate, but either way you slice it, hers were better… but I’m still learning.

Honestly it’s a bit of a project so I’m going to fire down another cup of coffee and start the dough. I’ll update with steps and my recipe as I go along.
